My favorite Austin pic
Did I mention that Katie and Derek live in the country?
They're in a beautiful development of homes, but as you travel toward the lake from their house, about a mile in, it gets more and more countrified. We were exploring and came across this guy - our first longhorn. Incidentally he just lives down the road from Lake Austin Spa, which is about as glamorous as you can get, and, apparently his owners live in a mansion on the lake. Fun to see the choices of the 'other half.'

Sometimes it may seem to us that there is no purpose in our lives, that going day after day for years to this office or that school or factory is nothing else but waste and weariness. But it may be that God has sent us there because, but for us, Christ would not be there.
